Vishwadha is a choreographer, performer, and advocate for representation in the performing arts. With over 15 years of experience, she blends classical foundations in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam with modern styles such as Bollywood, Tollywood Mass, Kuthu, and folk dance styles, creating dynamic performances. She completed her Rangapravesham in 2013 and has since dedicated her career to storytelling through movement, using dance to connect communities and amplify voices.
Driven by her passion for inclusivity and cultural representation, Vishwadha founded Vishious Vicinity, an international performing arts organization that celebrates diaspora identity through art. Under her leadership, Vishious Vicinity has become a platform for amplifying underrepresented voices, elevating South Asian and diaspora artists, and challenging the ‘starving artist’ stigma by creating opportunities for dancers involved with Vishious Vicinity.
Committed to fostering inclusivity and redefining narratives, Vish continues to train with prestigious dance companies while spearheading projects that inspire and empower artists to embrace their unique identities. Through Vishious Vicinity, she envisions a future where diverse talent is celebrated, and the transformative power of the arts brings communities together.
