What:
Similar to the beginner series, we will focus on breaking down foundational grooves to expand movement quality and range of motion. The Intermediate curriculum will mirror the beginner capsule but on a much faster pace with slightly less focus on basic movement concepts and more detailed feedback and critique. Higher attention will go into developing dance vocabulary, performance techniques, body/space awareness, and freestyle/individualism as a dancer.
Those who are experienced dancers who want detailed attention and higher expectations but want to continue to refine their foundations may take both beginner and intermediate capsules to gain more time and training. Slightly more focus will go into choreography as we learn how to deconstruct our approach to taking dance classes and learning choreography to counts and Bollywood music. We hope to help each student work towards fulfilling their dance goals while having a blast and maybe even figuring out that hook step they’ve been dying to learn.
